Walebing is a small town in the wheatbelt region of Western Australia, in the Shire of Moora, it takes its name from the original homestead established by Anthony O’Grady Lefroy in the 1840s. Cranmore Park is situated within Walebing and was purchased by Frank (FFB) Wittenoom from Midland Railway Company as virgin country late in 1908, and improvement work began in 1909. Walebing was used as a permanent camping area where the Yued live for several generations during the 19th century when Aboriginal people were displaced from their lands and when they were governed under the 1905 Aborigines Act.
