As a Catholic school we encourage children to treat everyone with respect and kindness. We use Jesus as our model.
Catholic students participate in 3 Sacraments while in Primary School – Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.
St Joseph’s has a strong focus on literacy and maths, running Mini-Lit, Initial-Lit, Multi-Lit and EMU Maths programmes.
Science is another strength of the school as is sport.
Mon-Wed we run AFaFE – Aboriginal Families as First Educators. This is a well resourced program for any Aboriginal families in the community.
Every Tuesday we hold KINDY GYM in our Hall. This is for any pre-school aged children in Moora and is run by our Physical Education Teacher.
We run Breakfast Club every morning.
