The Scrap Iron Soldier Statue at the Moora War Memorial (as told by Robyn Broad)The idea for the Scrap Iron Soldier statue was conceived by a local artist, the late Richard Apel.

Constructed from iron, the Nurse Sculpture is dedicated to Nurses who have served Australia’s Military. This idea was brought to fruition by local Natalie Tonkin.
