This easy walk takes you on a scenic circuit around Moora. Do it one way or complete the suggested circuit through Candy’s Bush Reserve. The trail takes you along the banks of the Moore River and through Eucalypt woodland remnants. Interpretive signage can be viewed along the trail. Whilst walking, you might be lucky enough to spot a Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo between July and February. Carnaby’s (or Short-Billed) Black Cockatoo are a critically endangered WA bird who come to Moora to breed in the hollows of old Salmon Gums and Wandoo trees. Have you spotted the artificial nesting boxes around town?
