In 1893, the chaff shed on this site was the venue for the first court case in Moora. In 1897, John Brown, formerly the owner of the Waddington Hotel (Victoria Plains) was the owner of the Moora Hotel, which at that time was a galvanised iron shanty. It burnt down in 1906 and the existing building was constructed in 1907. Robert James was the licensee of the then Moora Hotel. The JUNCTION HOTEL MOORA formerly The Moora Hotel, is a country hotel located in the West Australian wheatbelt, a couple of hours north of Perth. We offer fantastic food & pizza in air-conditioned restaurants, friendly bars, alfresco dining and beer garden. Drive through bottle shop & pick up takeaway meals & pizza always an easy option. Phone ahead and we call you when it’s ready to collect. Relax while your kids play in our fantastic indoor kids’ playroom or in our outdoor playground. Our accommodation consists of hotel rooms that have 100L fridge, flat-screen TV, air conditioning and new ensuite rooms. Lunch packs & long-term packages are available. Wildflower season from September and just over an hour inland from Cervantes Pinnacles a lovely day trip. Make an overnight stay and explore Watheroo Cave or take a walk along our heritage trail and the Moore River that is still beautiful while dry.
