Gardiner Street Arts Collective’s purpose is to create an inclusive, shared arts space available to all people of the Moora community and wider region to participate in creativity from gardening to art, writing to dance, from baking to a talk around the fireside. The Collective is a not-for-profit group in Moora looking to strengthen and nourish the community through creativity. To showcase local artists by offering creative arts spaces, a gallery, retail outlet, offered on a fee for service basis. We embrace all existing creative groups with a vision of a thriving, inter-linked community across all walks of life, ages, abilities, race & demographics. For beginners, experts & experimenters. To learn, develop, teach & share.
Venue Hire Information:
We welcome you at the Gardiner Street Arts Collective Space to enjoy, create and explore. We provide a space both clean, exciting and welcoming for all to express their talents and learn new skills.
Potential users of our space include (but are not limited to):
Solo & Group Exhibitions By WA Artists, Drama Workshops, Ballet & Dance, Art Therapy Based Workshops i.e Basket Weaving, Mindful Drawing, Painting & Drumming, Winter Workshop Including Ceramics, Crochet etc, Fundraising Events; Painting Music Night Long Dinner & Opera , Bread Making For Men, Astro Stories, Cooking events, Baking & Blokes, Lectures & Movie Nights, Moora Music; Ukelalee, Drumming, Piano, Guitar, Open Creative Day, Free Creative Days, Brain Storming Artist Led, Book Clubs. Art and Culture have the power to transform lives and communities.
Annual Membership:
As a member of GSAC you play a key role in directing the vision of creative community nourishment through making a shared art space accessible to all ages, for all people from within and without our community. You make available a space for skill development, new ways of doing things, creation of new opportunities and visions of life. You enable expert tutors to impart creativity and local artists an opportunity to shine, become widely known and expand their opportunities. You support the revitalising of the centre of Moora for both local and tourist alike enhancing the reputation of Moora as being a wonderful place to live and work.
